Samantha Akhtarzandi, President of Doctors' Choice Medical Services, began her journey in medical billing while pursuing a master's degree in public health. Akhtarzandi initially worked part-time as a biller and practice manager for local providers, but her client base quickly expanded as she became known for billing expertise and strategic financial insights.
In 1995, Samantha Akhtarzandi and her spouse, Ruby Das, co-founded Doctors' Choice Medical Services. Over the past 25+ years, Doctors' Choice has managed the revenue cycles of dozens of specialties nationwide, handled billions of dollars in claims, and earned a reputation for outstanding client support.

Samantha Akhtarzandi is the President and Co-Founder of Doctors’ Choice Medical Services. After completing her Masters, Samantha started her career in Practice Management and eventually co-founded Doctors’ Choice Medical Services. Samantha has spent the last 28 years becoming an expert in Revenue Cycle Management, providing tailored consulting services to DCMS clients, and delivering targeted business analyses to optimize financial performance. Samantha's clinician-like mindset and unique ability to construct efficient billing practices maximizes the ROI for medical practices and facilities. Outside of work, Samantha loves spending time with her family, skiing, embracing her heritage by cooking delicious Persian food, and visiting her roots in merry old England!

Ruby Das is the Vice President and Co-Founder of Doctors’ Choice Medical Services. Ruby has 20+ years of experience delivering impactful RCM solutions by focusing on timely deployments, effective support, and client ROI. Prior to founding Doctors’ Choice, Ruby founded and worked at various tech companies. His leadership experience spans Operations, Accounting, Analytics, Finance, and Information Technology. Outside of work, Ruby loves spending time with his family, following Pro-European soccer (Go Barca!), and keeping up with NASA and space travel developments. Ruby’s current hobby is building a ‘66 AC Cobra Replica roadster!
